Christmas Money Holders

This week I was able to get a "start" on my Christmas cards ..... actually money holders. When you have 4 daughters and 12 grandchildren gift buying is pretty much out of the question so money is the perfect choice especially when they love to go "Boxing Day" shopping. So once again mass production time making money holders.

The size of the money holder is 7 x 4 when folded. I cut the base cream card stock 7" x 9" and scored at 7 1/4" and 3" mark. I used Scenic Route Paper Co. dp paper which is colour coordinated in strips. After cutting the DP in strips I mixed and matched gluing on the cream base. I didn't want to use envelopes so threw around some ideas how to keep the holders closed. As you can see ribbon won out. The snowflakes were punched from Martha Stewarts punch where I added a brad to the centre for the final touch.

So glad I was able to get these done in record time so I can start my Christmas cards for mailing.
